Yellow Lake Food Distribution

During this time of social distancing we are here to help others.
As members of the ELCA, we are called to respond. We are a church that rolls up our sleeves and gets to work. We are very proud of our on-going commitment and support of our community ministries:

Our Food Distribution program  is a group of   churches, including Yellow Lake Lutheran, that operate our community food bank program.

  • Yellow Lake Lutheran Church Food Distribution sponsored by GPS (God's People Serving)
    • We distribute every third Thursday of the month
    • 100 percent of our donations go towards the food we distribute. There is no cost.
    • Distribution Locations, Caring Hearts  in Webster
    • We are always looking for different organizations to volunteer for the distribution and set up. If interested contacts us for more information.

  • Total food distribution for the year ending December 31st, 2021: 7718 families helped, a total of 20325 people.  We handed out 281273 pounds of food.

​If you would like to volunteer, the food distribution occurs on the third Thursday of each month, 9:00 am – 1:pm. Distribution is done at Caring Hearts Thrift Shop which is located on the East side of highway 35, next to the Mini Mart.
